SAM: Hello Jeet Banerjee! Welcome to Pro Motivator.
JEET: Thanks for having me, I’m excited!
SAM: My readers would love to know you . Would you please introduce yourself to them?
JEET: I’m a 20 year old serial entrepreneur, digital marketing consultant, author, blogger, public speaker, and startup advisor. I started my first business in high school which I grew to 15+ employees before selling. From there, I launched a handful of other startup companies through which I’ve been able to impact hundreds of thousands of people.
SAM: Everybody seems to be interested in blogging these days. What motivated you into writing and blogging?
JEET: I found it as one of the easiest mediums to give back to the entrepreneurial community. Most bloggers put up ads or sell affiliate products, but I do none of those things. My interest from blogging is solely to share my experiences, knowledge, insight, and lessons with the world. I thought blogging is a creative, but simplified way of achieving this mission.
SAM: When did you create JeetBanerjee.com? What was your initial goal for your blog, and have you accomplished it?
JEET: I started it around a year ago in August. My initial goal for the blog was to produce good content that was circled around the experiences and knowledge I was gaining. I think I’ve been able to accomplish that very well as I’m getting between 10-20,000 unique visitors a month while spending no money or time on marketing. All I’ve done essentially is write great content.
SAM: You have a vast knowledge and experience about writing. How do I write quality post that will struck attention and will make people leave tons of comment?
JEET: Be personal. I learned that when you’re personal in your writing and you give people the truth exactly how it is, more meaningful connections are made. If you read my blog consistently, you can probably gather a lot of information about me. I connect with my audience through strong messages that involve putting my personal self in quite often.

Interview Questions Part One

Blogging Interview – Exclusive Blogging Interview with Reginald Chan!
SAM: Jeet, where do you get inspirations from?
JEET: I just wanted to avoid mediocrity and hated the idea of a job. I took a bunch of jobs from 15-17 years old and I hated all of them. I knew that getting a degree to get a job wasn’t going to make me happy. I wanted to be happy and found entrepreneurship to be that pathway that allowed me to be happy!
SAM: How many hours do you spend researching?
JEET: It depends really. If there’s a new project that I’m starting, I may spend months doing research. In other cases, I may not spend so much time researching. It really depends on where in the business I’m at.
SAM: You a very young entrepreneur, have you ever felt inferior to the big boys out there?
JEET: I did when I first started. I cared too much about what others thought and lacked confidence in myself, but I no longer think like that. As long as you’re confident in who you are and what you do, age doesn’t matter. It’s just a number.
SAM: How long have you been blogging?
JEET: For about 1 year 3 months now formally through my website.
SAM: What has contributed to your online success?
JEET: I’ve just been honest and persistence. If you want to be successful online, you must understand that your first marketing strategy probably won’t be a big hit. You have to continuously try and make necessary changes to be successful online.
SAM: Who is your mentor? How much did he/her contributed towards your success?
JEET: I’ve got a few different mentors and they’ve contributed in different ways. Some people have helped me become the visionary I am today. Others have guided me through the fundamentals of running a business while other mentors have been there solely as motivation for me.
SAM: Do you have any specific blogs you love to read? Why do you love such blogs?
JEET: QuickSprout.com – Love the content there.
Aside from that, I’m not fixated on any one blog. I browse the internet and if there’s ever a blog topic that catches my eye, I’ll read it.

Blog Post: How Do I Come Up With a Winning Business Idea?

SAM: What is the easiest way to make money as a blogger?
JEET: That’s a tough answer to give. It really depends on what you’re blogging about, who your audience is and the space you’re in. I’ve found it to be a very successful technique to build up a loyal audience and then to offer products/courses that may be of interest to them. Monetizing your blog in that way can work very well.

SAM: What’s the greatest thing you love about the internet?
JEET: You have the power to reach billions of people at any second. That power is unseen anywhere else.
SAM: Walk me through the step-by-step process that you went through to get to where you’re today. What was the first thing you did? Next?
JEET: I had an idea. Everything starts with an idea. From there, I took massive action. Starting a business and becoming an entrepreneur is a big journey. Everything starts with an idea and you have to take massive action. From there, you will hit obstacles, learn lessons and eventually achieve amazing things.
SAM:  How long were you running the business before you started paying yourself? How did you live through those first few months/years?
JEET: In my first business, I paid myself from the first month. However, in my latest business – I haven’t paid myself in a year and a half. You can’t put all your eggs in one basket. I don’t rely on one income source so if one of my businesses doesn’t end up paying me, I can still survive and live. Create numerous income sources so that you can sustain your business.

SAM: If some guy were to walk up to you, asking you for your advice and you only have a few minutes to give them your best tip, what would it be?
JEET: Just do it. I think Nike says it best. Every great success happened because one person decided they would try. If you have an idea or a dream, the biggest mistake you can make is to not try. Don’t regret the rest of your life because you were scared to try.
SAM: Who would you recommend to be featured on this interview section?
JEET: Not sure.
SAM: Anything else you would like to add?
JEET: Nope.
SAM: What can I do better?
JEET: I think you’re doing a great job!
SAM: Thanks so much, Jeet for your time and for honoring this interview.
JEET: Thanks for the interview, Sam. It was my pleasure. I had a great time answering the questions.
